Schedule a print for a specific time

Mind sharing your thoughts behind this one? What might be the use case?

I like to schedule a print for early in the morning if its a longer print.. I have a schedule to turn my printer on

That needs to be added please

This would be useful for avoiding peak time-of-use hours with the electric company. Similar to staggered start, a way to make sure we can start a print later.

Interesting case for wanting this feature; mind me asking…; if it’s similar to Staggered Start, why not use Staggered Start? Is it not so much to avoid the power going out, but to avoid printing during the most expensive hours? Or what’s the reason here?

Hey Albert, I meant that it’s similar as far as power/electricity management, but not necessarily in function.

As you said, it’s to avoid printing during the most expensive hours, which for me are 5pm - 9pm. So if I could like … block off that window or something that would be awesome. Prints that are already going would of course complete, but if I want to start a job fresh or from Print Queue, for instance, it would simply Schedule it to start at 9pm.

But I don’t really need a “don’t print during this time” function. Really just a Schedule function, much like Prusa Connect has. That way I can just schedule a job to start at 9pm.
