Hi there. It would be great if you could assign a user to multiple user groups, especially now with the quota system. It would allow for more variability in developing a user. For example, lets say we have 3 printers where everything is locked down for beginners and has some quotas. But we wanted to have a fourth printer available for power users where they could use their own filament, and thus we wouldn’t need to use quotas there. Currently, we would have to make two different user groups to map these use cases. The user in the power user group, would gain access to the fourth printer, and not have quotas restricting their usage, however they would lose access to the printers in the beginner group because we can only assign them to one user group. You might say, just add the first three printers to the power user group, but then then power users could print on the first three printers without quotas, and have the ability to change our filament, which ruins the experience for our beginner group. Rather, if they were part of both user groups, they could print with restrictions on the first 3, but then be able to access the fourth for prints were the need to use their own filament without it going against their quota limit.
