Filament label printout update: more info#71

• add more fields to the label, such a manufacture, type, etc.

smaller filament rolls similar to prusament points..
only showing grams
default size prefrences

shareable lists for friends that are public and update automaticly

@X x you mean add these to the filament spool, or filament / material tags for printers?

We have “Brand”, which would be the manufacturer, “Type” being the material type which er also have, so not quite sure what we’re missing here?

@Megadude9704 can you elaborate on “smaller rolls” and “shareable lists”? Not quite sure I understand what you mean by these :)
We have an option in the settings for showing KG instead of grams, if that’s what you’re looking for, as well as a setting allowing you to change the default size preferences.

What I’m talking about is the label that is generated when you send them to your label printer.

So in other words when I or whoever is taking them off the printer can look at the simplyprint label and know where it gets filed.

This especially helpful with reusable schools such as the bambu.

Ah - that makes sense! Thanks for the clarification :) It could be possible to add more info to the label. In general, the label generator is probably due for an update sometime soon, and I know that we’re gonna change the “unique ID”‘s of the spools a little bit soon.

It would be good and easy to add some additinal information to the label.

Web-only for now, but within 1-2 weeks the mobile app will fully reflect the filament v2 update as well. Thanks for your patience on this! It was a giant update, many months in the making.
