I would like the capabiltity to install an alternative camera, connected to a computer, or pair with a web enabled camera (like Wyze), to provide the camera feed into Simplyprint. Creality uses a poor ai detection that can’t be turned off and forces the full disablement of the camera (otherwise it keeps pausing prints incorrectly).
It would be nice to have just feed in, it would be even better to have tied in with Ai detection.

You can do so for Moonraker-powered devices, OctoPrint and Bambu Lab already; https://moonraker.readthedocs.io/en/latest/configuration/?h=simply#simplyprint - see “webcam name”. Set it up in Klipper and reference its name = another webcam will be used.
For Bambu this was addressed in a recent ticket as well.
Closing as this is possible.
