Your Files - Restrict Search to Current Folder (Context-Aware Search)#640

Currently, the search bar in the “Your Files” section performs a global search of the entire file library, regardless of which folder is currently open.

The Issue: If I navigate into a specific folder (e.g., “Bambu A1 Mini Projects”) and search for a file, the results include files from all other folders (including incompatible files for other printers like the P1S).

The Fix: The search function should respect the current folder hierarchy. If I am inside a folder, please search only within that folder and its sub-folders. Alternatively, add a toggle next to the search bar for “Search Whole Library” vs “Search Current Folder.”

Hi there, there is a toggle that might achieve this for you in the advanced search options, called “Only search in current folder”. Let me know if that fits your needs

Hi, yes that works exaclty how i was requesting.

However it is not an option in the app which is where i need it the most.

Also once its selected, is it permanantly on? A quick page refresh makes me believe it is, but im not sure about logging in and out on different machines.
