Combine Your Files with a local search capability#636

One of the main reasons I signed up to SP is the Your Files feature with 3D file preview. Would it be possible to extend this to cover local repositories of files as well. I can’t imagine uploading everything I have into SP but having a master library mgmt capability within SP would be very useful - perhaps with the ability to sync files from offline to online once there is a need to slice them.
