It’d be nice to have limited access to multiple users in these plans. This is a pretty low-priority one, but I think it’s worth considering as part of the larger pricing and packaging points I’m making in these suggestions.
In my use-case, I have an adult son that I’d like to allow to use my printer in a reasonably limited sense. I.e. I don’t want to allow full admin access, but being able to send things to the printer and monitor it, see available filament, etc.
I have a granddaughter that’s really excited about 3dprinting, and I’d love to have a super-restricted account that would let her have a read-only view of the printer and its activity.
Instead of the full scope of what you can do at FARM tier, maybe Basic and Pro get three predefined roles that can each be assigned to a single user. One Admin (the owner), one Write user that can be invited, and one Read user. Maybe Pro gets some additional ability to control what “write” privileges get granted for the write user?
This again gives someone a clear growth path for scaling it if they’re trying to build a business. It’s there now, but the leaps are jarring.
