I need a “notes” or “order” section on my queued files so that I can quickly “expedite” a print to the top of the list. and/or search for that order number so I can drag it up to the top
Hi there! :)
There are notes (the little note field by the print name). We also have Custom Fields where you can add extra fields to the print queue. More on that here; https://help.simplyprint.io/en/article/all-about-the-custom-fields-feature-4dd5if/ - many use this for order numbers.
(also, just a note; the more concrete you are with your suggestions, the more likely they are to be upvoted and accepted; using the title “Print Queue” doesn’t say a lot about what it is you’re suggesting - just a tip!)
wow thank you so much Albert, this is wonderful. We are putting all efforts towards using SP as best as we can, any timeline on the filament spool association fix?
My pleasure! Can you explain what you mean by “filament spool association fix”? If you have an open ticket, do bump it so we can identify you and your case.
it seems that Javad is working on it, I don’t know the ticket # as my employee submitted the issue
we “associated” all the filament rolls to printers, and then all the associations disappeared
Will check up on that and update the case. I think @Javad knows what you’re talking about.
excellent, thank you very much, we are also wondering if there is a way to alter the amount of filament used for each print, so that we can more accurately predict the end of the filament roll, I don’t see an easy way to edit that. I know it’s an over estimation currently which is obviously good.
My pleasure! You can edit the filament and update the weight; Filament > Cog in the top right corner > Edit. No simple “Edit weight” yet - but that’s coming :)
Further questions are best asked in our Discord server or live-chat; the suggestion box is not the best place for this.
