When creating printer groups, the “Ready for All” button is assigned to a specific group. This is great.
So why does the “Clear Cycles” button always work for all connected printers? This button should also be for a specific group
When I clean printers that have, for example, 5/10 cycles in Auto Farm, the “Ready for All” button doesn’t reset the cycles for that group. It only resets them when the cycle reaches 10/10. Manually clearing cycles is now time-consuming with multiple groups, especially when we do it daily.
And I can’t use the “Clear Cycles” button because it will clear all printer groups.
This is a small change, but I think it’s user-friendly and easy for developers to implement.
Good catch! Yeah all buttons up here are not group specific - only the ones on the group line.
So, you’d like a per-group button, like we have “Ready all” which only affects the printer in that particular group?
Or, are you also suggesting that when using “Ready all”, you should be able to mark all cycles reset for all printers that you mark ready? (or both?)
I don’t know if it’s a good idea for the “Ready All” button to clear printer cycles.
But I think a “Clear Cycles” button should be added automatically to each printer group.
I think the “Ready for All” button configuration might be too clunky for users. I mean, the “Ready for All” button has a gear wheel, and you can configure what it does there.
Good idea - we’ll add this soon.
