I’m glad to be able to collaborate with this incredible program. Today I have a clever function, super necessary for print farms. I hope you like it too.

First of all, I want to clarify why this function arises. As you know, when you have a print farm, you need to keep a relationship between inventory and filament consumed. I have realized that sometimes, employees skip steps and simply send the filament to print after it runs out, avoiding the Unassign filament and the assign filament. This hinders the inventory process and makes continuous stock monitoring more difficult.

I have also realized that the spool, after it runs out, remains in the system as an empty spool. I understand that there are reusable spools, but there are also disposable ones.

I suggest adding a function for spools, which can be activated or deactivated when creating the spool. Let it be “It is disposable.” When used at 100%, this automatically removes the spools from the database of available spools, thus unassigning them from the printer, which cannot start or continue a job without an assigned spool.

In conclusion, with this function I seek to make the program more complete and useful to large companies that want to maintain control and for the system to force employees not to skip these important steps.
