Simplify choosing of printers vs print dialog#322

I am new to SimplyPrint and may not be understanding things yet, but I find it confusing that when printing from one of my files, I am asked to choose my printers, and then when I click Print, I am asked again to choose my printers and map materials. Why does the first selection exist? It seems like I can ignore it.

@Ryan Ewen that sounds odd; can you attach some screenshots of the process?

I think I figured it out - I don’t think it’s asking which printer to print on, but rather defining the needs of the file so that it can automatically choose a printer, if I don’t manually choose one.

I can’t post a screenshot at the moment, but it’s the side panel that appears when clicking one of my files in the file view. The first thing in that panel is a printer selector, and then when clicking Print at the bottom I am again asked which printers to use.

You can probably delete this, now that I better understand it. What I thought was a printer selector was actually just what SimplyPrint picked up as the printer that model was sliced for, from the gcode file
