Deleting Prints from Print History#223

Exploring the SimplyPrint platform requires some prints that are experimental. As such, you might have prints that are likely to fail. This should not be considered when looking at the print statistics of the account as a whole. I think it would be great for an account administrator to be able to delete prints from the Print History to help ensure that print metrics actually reflect the failure rates of prints that are not experimental.

We’re thinking of adding an “Archive” button for print jobs, allowing you to effectively “delete” (archive) them.

Archived print jobs won’t be counted towards your stats in “Statistics”, but can still be found in the print history if you filter by “Archived”.

I like the idea!

@Kevin no status. Our thoughts are still the same; an “Archive” button could work.

One of our developers, Johan, is currently working on a small rework of the Statistics page logic, and maybe this suggestion could fit in with this update.

Will discuss it with the team 👍

In progress. An “Archive” button, where you can also give a reason for it being archived.

Archived jobs won’t be counted toward statistics in the Statistics page, and won’t show up by default in the Print History table (but a filter will allow you to see them). You can give a reason for archiving which will be displayed on the job. Bulk-archiving and single-item archiving will be possible.

Out soon.
