Ability to select material color when adding to queue#130

Right now, when you add an item to the queue, for instance when adding from Your files, you can select the quantity to print, but not the color. It’d be incredibly useful to be able to set the color right there when you’re adding the item to the queue.

The reason for that is that it takes more clicks to go in after adding an item in the queue to set the color. That’s important as I don’t want the job to go to any printer so I have to go into the queue after adding an item to set the color. In my mind it makes sense to have that be something you set right when adding it.

I would set it on the file, but we might make the same item in a variety of colors - the print job is the same, though.

An alternative here would be to add jobs to the queue right from the Print Queue page, but it seems that since the modal window is coming up when I add a new job and asking for Quantity, it only makes sense to add color there as well.

Hey John, I was just reading your comment and noticed the bit regarding adding jobs to the queue. You can add items to the queue directly from the queue page but you have to drag it into the lighter black box. If you drag anywhere else on the page it pulls up that second dialog box. Try tragging it into the smaller lighter box.

Hey, apologies but I’m not sure what you mean. The print queue page doesn’t have any way to drag and drop files from Your files, so I’m not seeing what you’re referring to. I only have a + button to add jobs to the queue, then you select a file from there. You select a file, then click Add.

Ah that’s why. I don’t use the file storage at all so this was referring to dropping files into the queue from your computer.
